Hailing from Reykjavik, Oh Mama is a underrated force in the scene. 'Tímarit' is their debut release - and comes in a form of a old-school mixtape. It's gritty, noisy, quirky and interesting. It has moments of pure joy and unorthodox song structures. It includes leftfield breaks, ambient and quirky house - a mixed bag of styles. One thing is certain is that it's a intriguing introduction to the sounds of a dusty Reykjavik basement.
